Of course there are deadlines that are expected to be met, but the SSIG is all about developing leadership skills that will prepare your for after graduation.

Why should I take on a leadership position? Not only is serving as leadership in your professional association a great resume builder. But, it will help you expand your professional network by meeting active and caring professionals who are willing to assist you on your journey. It is also a great way to make a difference in what you would like see happen as a student member.
