Student National Advocacy Dinners
Now accepting applications for IPTA sponsorship

Each spring, APTA Student Assembly’s National Advocacy Dinners are hosted throughout the country to encourage student advocacy and learn about legislative issues impacting the future of the physical therapy profession. These advocacy dinners provide a community-based forum, empowering students to learn how to engage and dialogue with federal and state policymakers on important PT issues.

Through this initiative, all PT/PTA students are encourage to organize and participate in advocacy dinners in their city, inviting students, practicing PT/PTAs, program faculty, Chapter leaders, and even state and federal legislators to attend. Any student can organize a National Advocacy Dinner in their area!

This year, National Advocacy Dinners should be scheduled April 3 - May 12, 2019.

While these advocacy dinners are entirely student organized, the IPTA is accepting applications for funding to help offset the cost of food provided at these events.

Students interested in applying for financial sponsorship for the purpose of providing food during their event may apply using this online application.
