Creative Therapeutics and Northern Rehab Physical Therapy Specialists teamed together to kick off National Physical Therapy Month aand hosted a 1.5 milk walk along the DeKalb Nature Trail to encourage the communities to be active while supporting the Voluntary Action Center of DeKalb County.

“We are happy to support the Voluntary Action Center as the recipient of this annual fundraiser because their various programs support the needs in our community” comments Lynn Batalden of Creative Therapeutics. This is the third year of this event with over 75 participants walking, rolling, strolling and riding along the trail on a beautiful warm fall day. Ken Olson of Northern Rehab adds, “We are pleased to present the Voluntary Action Center with a check for $1,100.00 to help support their community programs such as Meals on Wheels, TransVAC and MedVAC.”
