PT--Magazine of Physical Therapy is the professional issues magazine of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Physical Therapy
Founded in 1921, Physical Therapy is the official publication of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is an international, scholarly, peer-reviewed journal. Physical Therapy serves APTA members and other health care professionals by (1) documenting basic and applied knowledge related to physical therapy, (2) providing evidence to guide clinical decision making, and (3) publishing a variety of research that is relevant to the field and diverse opinions that are based in scholarly arguments. Physical Therapy, like the profession it serves, strives to enhance the function, health, and well-being of all members of society.

The Journal Web site posts articles published ahead of print, rapid reader responses to articles, book reviews, and enhanced reference linking to members and subscribers. Journal content, including Journal articles, letters to the editor, and editorials, are available in full-text starting with Volume 79 (1999) and in searchable PDF format starting with Volume 70 (1990).
