Member Services Workgroup

A combined Board and member workgroup focusing on advancing the ethical and professional best practice of physical therapy in Illinois, with emphasis on meeting member needs. The workgroup contributes in developing needed processes, products and services to enable the association to achieve its mission.  Meet primarily by conference call, with one annual meeting.

Membership Committee

Chair: Vacant

The membership committee looks critically and comprehensively at issues of member relations. The committee develops messages to members and the public.
The committee provides strategic suggestions to the IPTA Board on membership needs, retention and recruitment. Provides an ongoing assessment of membership needs, trends and demographic changes.
Members of the committee may make presentations to schools, hospitals and other large employers about the value of membership

Awards Committee

Chair:  Barb Sullivan

This committee recommends to the IPTA Board candidates for the awards or special distinctions as may be directed to them by the Board or developed by the committee of Assembly of Representatives.  The final selection of the recipients of these distinctions shall be made by the Board of Directors
