About House Resolution 850
Illinois House Representative Linda Chapa LaVia (D) took time this winter to find out more about careers in physical therapy. She was impressed. She was also concerned that high school students did not have access to enough information and exposure to this health care career choice.  Working with the Illinois Physical Therapy Association, she passed a resolution to promote PT careers to high school students in Illinois. We thank Representative Chapa LaVia for her great work and we look forward to working with her to encourage schools and clinics across the state to work together to educate students and their families on the value of physical therapy and the opportunity to enter in to a growing and valued health care profession.

If you are interested in getting involved in this initiative, contact the Chapter office at 630.904.0101 or ipta@ipta.org. (full text of resolution below)
