The Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA) is a state Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, and serves member physical therapists and physical therapist assistants throughout the state of Illinois. The IPTA was incorporated in Illinois in February, 1951. The Illinois Physical Therapy Association is incorporated under the Illinois Not-For-Profit Corporation Act and tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
